Great little place
Castlegate coffee house is an extremely well run coffee shop, great food, comfortable, quiet, clean and friendly.

Friendly, Clean and Wholesome
I am not from Carlisle but had the pleasure of spending a few days there and consequently frequented most of the cafes but the most welcoming was Castlegate Coffee House. I had freshly prepared wholesome food in clean and comfortable surroundings with good value for money. Infact, once frequented I made the effort to go there rather than other cafes and look forward to my return.
