I am a keen angler, no wealth to speak of, working class and down to earth, I get very tired of having the salmon tweed brigade stare down their noses at me whenever I dare venture into their overpriced snob shops so discovering Eddies was a blessed relief, there are no fake fish in glass cases with a plaque saying "caught by Lady Fossington" or other useless junk, what you get in Eddies is what you came for, you will not get a lot of useless junk foisted on you, and you will not get looked down at, you will be made welcome and sold what you want at a price that is more than reasonable. it is a pleasure to see someone who is willing to talk with anyone regardless of station, advice is freely offered and usually good. it is also good to see someone prepared to speak to the dreaded hoodies of the street corner, and will help them develope an interest outside of underage drinking and random acts of violence, if you are a member of the Salmon tweed brigade, then drop into Eddies anyway and see the other side of angling for a change
