  • Manhattan Cafe Toffee Cake gets a 10!!

    This is my third review of this fantastic small business. Eventually tried the coffee cake that has been winking at me for ages and ...HEAVEN! Unbeatable. Guess that Sharon will say its her's but suspect it will be her mum or Tracy's recipe (Sharon is tight on the butter! ;~}

  • Manhattan Cafe Second review shows how good this cafe is.

    This is my 2nd review, 1st was dedicated to cafe's bacon butties. This reviews the cafe's general fayre, ambience & service which is top-notch for a small, no pretences enterprise. You will not be disappointed, unless you are pretentious!

  • Manhattan Cafe Best bacon butties

    Probably the best bacon butties in Cumbria! With egg & brown sauce preferably. I've been thinking of a Cumbria league table for such items, having to travel across Cumbria regularly. I had cafe's in Kendal and Penrith tying but this place takes the lead!
